Personal development and entrepreneurial development are directly linked to each other because all entrepreneurial areas are connected through human psyche. After all, companies are founded and lead by humans, address them and work in sociopolitical conditions who are also shaped by humans.

Therefore, the key to entrepreneurial success is communication - which does not only refer to humans, but also abiotic things, activities and more! Communication is the foundation of human interaction and THE vehicle of personal-entrepreneurial development. At the same time, it’s completely underrated or misunderstood and misused in the corporate world.

Which is super retarded since communication is linked to all crucial areas of a company (even physical products communicate!) and, if done properly, not only leads to more profit but also a better company climate which goes way beyond your internal boundaries - namely right into your private life which will also lighten up with good leadership (of which communication is one quality).

Successful companies have and communicate clear structures & processes which are respected by all employees and many more. And they have the secret ingredient.

Because my huge repertoire of passions, interests, skills and experiences is worth its weight in GOLD in the context of business consulting for complex problems - even though it may seem not very specialized at first glance

If you’re dealing with big and sensitive changes, you just need somebody who, thanks to a diverse expertise, has or is able to develop completely new perspectives and is also able to efficiently dance between various areas during their implementation (see here, too).

My more than three decades long success rate impressively proves over and over again that companies which consider the relationship aspect are more successful. Everyone else only destroy themselves and/or others.

However, it only works with a certain requirement:

I only support companies who want more than maximizing profit which is far too boring and cheap to me! Yes, we can easily accomplish high revenues, but money should never be the sole goal - money is a byproduct of good management. But if you stop at monetary goals, you have no more stimulus to develop yourself 😉

STRATEGY Comsulting: Upswing through a new direction

If your company is already struggling for quite some time because your industry or resources are changing or the competition gets bigger or consumer behavior changes drastically, it’s more than overdue that you change the track of your company - after all, you want to make healthy profit (again), cause positive things for society & nature and finally sleep well again and also enjoy other areas of your private life.

But which direction should you take how? Which risks are awaiting us and which potentials and results are behind big transformations? Do our employees, partners, customers etc. support us and who is there for me personally when I need someone in this turbulent phase? In addition, how do we preserve the positive aspects of our heritage and its associated company DNA? And why on earth should we be so crazy to entrust a positive lunatic with the future of our company?

Super simple:

To make crucial decisions like these, you need comprehensive understanding of entrepreneurship, society, culture and even nature which is important for foresight and overview and to be able to predict what’s going to happen when you turn which gearwheel - by the way, that is THE strength of geographers!

But it also takes a pinch of courage, power, sensitivity and good risk and change management for its implementation because changing structures & processes in very different directions always impacts people who usually react strongly to it. Therefore, you have to process it on an individual, society and entrepreneurial level where communication becomes THE key again - as a creative psychoanalytical entrepreneur whose previous predictions came true almost 100%, challenges like these are second nature to me (see the link to my background above).

Finally, please consider your own personality, too, and do not underestimate the impact huge changes like these have on your life. You may know from your own experience how tough it can be to make such important decisions - even if everything tells you it’s going to work. Products/services are the core or bait of any business where there’s so much to consider to not only catch great but also to guarantee having fun using your tools (which always binds stronger than just “needing” something).

You can even use products to develop your company as a brand. And sometimes, it even needs significant product changes to save a company or return from oblivion!

But did you know that the design of your products has a crucial impact on how they work and are perceived and evaluated? That’s powerful because you can actually use products and their design to shape society (I learned this from Japanese fishing lure makers) 😉

There are two dimensions when it comes to products & services which can strongly impact each other in both directions:

  • products themselves
  • product portfolio‍

And, of course, there’s the old battle between designers (aesthetics) vs. engineers (functionality).

And if we also add accompanying services to products, it gets insane - insanely exciting 😁

But the best products are worth nothing if your marketing (and sales, partly) isn’t right. Particularly in the premium sector, it’s often a thin line to appropriately market products & services which usually hold their value very well, but unfortunately, only few (premium) providers really get it right.

The problem here are various conflicts between different internal and external areas of a company and its associated uncertainty which products/services and/or portfolio changes propel the business without distancing too much from the corporate identity.

The solution is a modern Peter Pan with countless passions and skills who’s an expert of humans and who cares a lot about a highly sophisticated level of design AND function as well as adequate marketing. With a little bit of glitter, please ✹ Thank you.

So, how is the atmosphere in you company and beyond?

  • Are there more or less obvious conflicts among your employees (incl. management board) on a regular basis?
  • Are your managers good mediators or already burnt out or the laughingstock for other employees?

There are many advantages to it, but it also leads to people becoming insecure much easier if they are not led well (starting at their parents and the school system). Since I’m from a gastronomic family to who high quality is very important, I also care a lot about (good) service etc. which does not only refer to the development of high-class services but also to the development of a creative range of services offered - which is the most fun when combining services & physical products, but can also be super sexy when creating a complex service portfolio.

Marketing:

As you can see, beauty is as essential to me like air for breathing. Therefore, we’ll work out beautiful marketing concepts with which you’ll promote your products, services, your company etc. outstandingly attractive.

⚠ There’s only one thing for which I’m the wrong partner when it comes to design and marketing: Things you just “need”. That’s far too lame, too much fear of life, too mediocre (typical German) to me. But ok, if you haven’t understood and accepted the power of emotions in today’s world, you’ve already lost anyway - be it entrepreneurially or in your private life (which is also obvious in a lot of areas in Germany).

I’m also the wrong partner for IT, at least for product and service development. But if you absolutely want to collaborate with me because you find me cool or whatever, let’s instead check how we can elevate your marketing and especially your company climate to the next level đŸ€—

Whatever your human issues or goals are (see list in the according paragraph above), we'll find a way to turn it into something positive. This may lead to big individual changes, but remember, the overall goal is still to develop your company and to stay sane.

Please also consider that since humans consist of 75% water, not air, it should be pretty clear that it takes a while until the energy of our collaboration becomes fruitful. This may turn off one or the other decider, but if you want to make business sustainably stable, this is the way to go.

At least, when you strive for sustainable solutions which go along with the big transformations of your business structures and processes - if you book my leadership seminars, you already won’t recognize your employees the next day 😁

But you should much rather ask yourself how long you’re already struggling with the problems pointed out in the company climate Comsulting paragraph above and how much your financial, physical and psychic resources of your corporate savings, employees, partners and also your own health still hold up to fill the gaps which become bigger and bigger nonetheless
